I am a retired tool, die and injection mold machinest/hydraulics repair, welder, and anythiong else required to keep a boat afloat. Grew up and worked in Detroit and Ohio, Paramedic/Firefighter in Florida, and boat bum on the Gulf coast.
Have had boats since I was 15. Steamed the waters of the Great Lakes, eastern seaboard, Florida's east and west coast and the Gulf from Florida to Louisiana.
I am single, sorta retired and up until last October 08, lived on a 34ft Marine Trader for 5 years. Hurricane Katrina has changed my opinion about living aboard full time. I still love boats, but won't live aboard full time again.

Up until last October, 08, I owned and lived on a 34 ft Marine Trader Trawler. I lost an 18 footer in Katrina, along with just about everything else except the Trader.
Im back in the market for a boat, but not a liveaboard. Something on a trailer.
