I'm interested in medical and exercise science. I plan to attend med school eventually. For now I am trying to explore the world's sailing community and see how far I get.
I am looking for a team to join or some other sailing position with room to grow and travel for when I graduate next year.

Lately I have been organizing and coaching the sailing team at FSU, which I reestablished in '07. I have loved racing for the past two years but have enjoyed sailing since I was a tot. Someday I will sail the world.

currently - 420, FJ, V15, J24, H16, laser

well, costa rica has become a joke... wqe are nothing but dumb gringos, with big wAllets, or so they think.... gringo tax on EVERYTHING lately. I sold my land there 4 weeks ago, now, I am selling our lot in Bocas del toros, panama also.... guatemala, is the place to be,we spent last spring in livingston, and it is awesome.. the people, the weather, everything! nice place, nice people....and, funny you would mention it, but, my rig is due for a tuning....

welcome aboard! maybe someday you can inform me on racing...I race, well try to. But, for very long distances at a time, without a finish point...and sold every spinnaker and gear I ever got with my boats...I have a very old yacht, and smoke the competition to mexico, on a regular basis...I never enter, but, I always win.. when everyone else is asleep, or hove-to, I am still going...maybe you could show me how to get more speed out of my atkins... not the fastest rig. gaff rigged,3 headsail ketch..fair winds, and calm seas!

Well you know what they say- Big boats get all the glory but the small boats make the sailor.

I used to be a keelboat cruiser, but I recently became a dinghy racer. You be surprised how much keen rig tension and sail trim adjustments will help. For us it makes the difference of pointing 10 degrees higher in the puffs and sailing a knot faster in the lulls.

I would love to take a cruise to Mexico though. I've been looking at Panama and Costa Rica even.
