Now reading The Sea Of Gold

Sailing of course, Cruising to new exciting locations. Being in the company of my good friends, diving, golf, fine woodworking and finishing. Laughing and joking with my friends. RUM. Reading books of the sea, sailing, and the adventures and stories of others. I volunteer some of my time in the area of Wildlife rescue for the Wildlife Center of Venice. A wonderful and rewarding position.

Not enough space here yet to fully discribe how wonderful I am. :) Modesty is at the top of my list. I came down from Mystic Connecticut about 8 years ago. In search of a summer season that lasted at least 8 months. A professional remodeler for over 40 years. A retired firefighter for 20 years. I love working with wood, fine woodworking and finishing. I am generally a happy man with a great sense of humor. Kind, understanding, respectful of others. A true and deep passion for the water and our wildlife. I have many times had to opportunity to interact with the dolpins and manatees. Truly memorable moments. Oh did I mention I am seeking a sailing partner? If the water is your passion, do contact me. One other thingy. My true age is 50 something. But as Jimmy once said "I may grow old but I do NOT have to grow up".

To many to list. They started at the age of 8 and grew from there. The US Navy was kind enough to allow me the use of one of their aircraft carriers. About a 1200 footer. I now own two boats. A beautiful and fully equipped 33ft Hunter. The other is a Herroshoff Eagle. My partner in the boat and myself are restoring her for resale. Shes a gaff rigged, topsail beauty with catboat lines
