Hey RumHead- The wife and I killed a few bottles of Pyrat over vacation just to watch 'em die.

Do you draw those cartoons?  I love them.

Hey Ross,
Did you still want a copy of the Dock-Blocked cartoon? If so send me your email and I'll send to you. It's a 4 meg pdf file.

that would be awesome. You can email me at ross_in_tampa@yahoo.com. Let me know if you ever get a call for prints or what have you. I am a commercial printer with access to some pretty cool toys.

I just sent the note tonight, so there is no delay that I had noticed. The Morgan is a great boat. We race on a Morgan 38 that is up for sale at Davis Island. That boat has been ridden hard and put away wet, but what a great sailing boat.

Rumhead, I have bookmarked your website, very cool. We will have to meet one of these days soon, and share some of the Nectar of the Gods.

Thanks Ross,
I"m ALWAYS up for that.
I'm having a bit of trouble with this site. I used to get email notifications when somebody left me a comment, but I don't anymore and they're all still "on". Forgive me if I don't respond right away sometimes.

Hey Jeff,
I've seen in quite a few places - B-21 up in Tarpon Springs/Holiday. The liquor store close to Ted Peters smoked fish on the corner of Gulfport Blvd. and Pasadena has it. I think it's around, just sort of have to hunt for it. The liquor store guy told me they discontinued the tall skinny bottles. All they offer now is the short, squat ones, and the the ultra-fancy $250/bottle stuff. One day I'm going to get my crew to chip in and get a bottle of the high-dollar so we can find out what's so special about it.
Jeese - what happens if I really like it????

2nd mortgage?

Hey RumHead- Where can you get Pyrat rum around here?  I've only seen in up north.

I agree with your observation that the high end rums offered by the big companies tend to be pretty good.  We'll have to organize a tasting at the next raftup.
