Sailing and Motorcycling. Been on both since high school

Began Sailing in Cocoa Beach in early 70's. Did some east coast racing late 70's and early 80's.
two Bermuda runs back then from Ponce Inlet. One on Hull #1 - Hunter 33(The Dealer) with Warren Luhrs and another on the Morgan 41 classic (Obsession). Fast forward to Bradenton in 96'when Denise and I moved back to FL. Began fixing up and sailing our Catalina 22 (Natural Mystic).Then wanting a bigger keel boat in 2000, bought the Soverel 28 (Yellow Moon)we have had alot of casual sailing fun and I thought all was well. Then my 89 year old nieghbor from high school days (who taught me to sail and race). Asked me to buy his retirement project. He custom designed and then built the Swamp Rabbit in his back yard in Cocoa Beach. She is a 33' centerboard sloop that he began drawing in 1979 and built from 1985 to 1989.Its all wood stringers, plywood skin and completely glassed over. It is 33'LOA x 12'Bm x 29.75'WLL displacement is about 8500. He raced her around Cocoa in the 90's. I brought the Rabbit from C Bch to Bradenton this past February, came thru Okeechobee(yes, when it held at 4.02ft navigable water)and we made it.
When Denise and I aren't working or playing on the boats, we are traveling motorcycles. We both ride and both own electraglides. We have two cats and a Bull Mastiff( who doesn't go sailing). Thanks for reading.
