I love being out on the water while the wind blows wildly across your face. Boating is a slice of paradise. Does anyone need the help of a crew member willing to learn the ropes .regular_smile. Most of my training and use was with a 28 ft power boat.

I live in Venice most of the year with the remainder of my time near the sound in Ct. Your group looks like a bunch of fun loving people.

If you need anyone to cast the lines please e mail me.i am somewhat new to the area waters in and around Sarasota.

Debbie,
The Sunday faces at the squadron are fun. The Motley name may be diminishing? but the are always starting at 1pm so be there by noon and go to the porch and make it known to Bob Miller you want a ride. There is PHRF racing starting on Fridays after daylight savings time. Be there by 5 pm. I'll be glad to take you along. Beer and a bit of spinnaker flying!

Every Sunday there's a casual event called the Motley Crew Race at around noonish. The event is at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron on Lido Key (google it for directions.). Ask for Walt or Big Dan to get you a spot on somebody's boat. If you're lucky, you'll get a spot where all you have to do is drink beer and enjoy the comraderie.

Debbie- Keep an eye on events. When there's a raftup happening, respond to the event that you want to go but need a ride, and we'll see about hooking you up with a crew.
