Its good to know that you're not "land locked."  No good pirate should ever be without his vessel and a fair body of water to sail her on.  Happy New Year to you and yours as well.  Here's hopin' it be a good yar fer us all.

I'm not entirely landlocked.  I've got some Great Lakes here in Michigan to play on, but it's quite a journey to get to saltier water.  A few years ago I helped friends move their boat from Lake Charles to Sarasotota, but that's the only Gulf sailing I've ever done.  My roots are deep here, and I have to bloom where I'm planted.  But when the snow flies here I ache to be in a sunnier place.
