Well, folks, world famous New Orleans Jazz Fest will feature Cheryl Crow on the first Friday, April 25. She'll follow Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, for those like me, who love Alison. What a one-two punch!!
Local group The Iguanas will play that day on another stage, and a couple red-hot zydeco acts as well.
Check out the whole schedule at the jazzfest link for luminaries such as Billy Joel, Tim McGraw and lots of great N.O. acts.
Those who are sailing up can ask me to help them get a berth in the marina. Just don't ask for too much electric or water. They're still rebuilding!

Let's not forget... not everyone that reads your news is from where you are... Remember the important W's in your posts. Every city has a jazzfest, which one are we talking about, because the line up rocks...

Oh, and since I can't get back in to edit this article, I'll also mention that on the second Saturday, May 3, Jimmy Buffet finishes the day on one stage while Diana Krall finishes the day at the same time on another stage...what's a poor boy to do?
