The Sarasota Sailing Squadron has been run by Pat Murphy for many many years. He was a part of the SSS as a child and managed the organization as an adult. Putting a time line on Pat's dedication to the Sarasota Sailing Squadron would be unfair. It will never end! He has been a father figure and a mentor to all. Pat's core focus and passion has been to promote the art of sailing for all walks of life. Pat has helped so many sailors whether it was working an arrangement in rough times, a quick word of advice or the pat on the back for going above and beyond to share the passion of what the SSS stands for. We all have stories. Please join us to say thank you and celebrate Pat Murphy's sail into retirement!
