Dear Friends of the Sailing Squadron,
At this time the Squadron is facing a number of important issues. At no other time since I have been a member of the Squadron has it been more important that we seek to utilize the guidance, counsel and experience of the very best people we can to direct the business of our sailing club.
Hopefully I am not pre-mature in soliciting your help and cooperation in this matter, but it is my understanding that Alan Pressman and John Huber have consented to run for the 2009 board positions of Commodore and Rear Commodore, respectively. In order to accomplish this at this late date it will most probably be necessary for them to run as write-in candidates.
Won't you agree to support this effort by writing in the names of Alan Pressman for Commodore and John Huber for Vice Commodore on your ballot in this upcoming election? And if you will, won't you please also ask all those you know that are members of the Sarasota Sailing Squadron to do the same?
