The Sailmonster Poker Run is counting down! The itinerary will be listed early next week. Remember this event is both on land and sea simultaneously and will go into the night. No boat needed if it is to far to participate by boat as we will fit as many people on to local boats as we can. So far we have a band, bounce house and a craft area for kids, geocaching, BBQ, silent auctions, raffles and of course a rum bar:) All proceeds will go to Toys for Tots. Entry is $20 per person and a new unwrapped toy, kids are free.( Remember this is a charity event for children who have nothing ). We will need volunteers, donors, sponsors and anything else you would like to provide for the silent auction ( new or old ). This is the first time an event like this is being done so we are uncertain of the results but hope to make the holiday season great for children in need. We almost canceled the event due to the economy but decided if we raise $50 or $5000 it is all good. Please tell your friends, neighbors, employers, groups, enemies etc... We promise a great time for a good cause. A special thanks to the Sarasota Sailing Squadron for co chairing this event and everything it stands for!
