The Club conducts many varied activities for the benefit of its members. Its physical plant contains superb dining and refreshment facilities, as well as a pool, lighted tennis courts, yacht basin, and modern docks for transient vessels. THE CLUB promotes sailing races, cruising and fishing tournaments. The various social and recreational functions are planned for the enjoyment of the whole family.

The Board of Directors, consisting of THE CLUB Officers and Directors, is responsible for conducting, overseeing and controlling the activities of THE CLUB. The Board holds regular monthly meetings, and other meetings as required. The day-to-day operation of THE CLUB is supervised by various committees appointed by the Board and conducted by THE CLUB manager and his staff. Voting members are invited to attend Board meetings. Applicants for membership must be interested in boating, and be of a good character. Each application must contain the favorable recommendation of at least two voting members. Applications must be submitted to the Membership Committee for consideration and recommendation to the Board of Directors, which has exclusive authority to determine an applicant's qualifications for membership.

The Great Mates, an active group of female members and spouses of members have a monthly luncheon meeting and varying projects throughout the year. They support and sponsor Club and Community functions.
