I started sailing wooden prams, that my grandfather built in fairport harbor, ohio.by the time i was 14, i was the black sheep of the family...(no corporate schmoozing for me!!!)and, I sailed my first boat (edey&duff stonehorse)to the keys, in search of a million things that were not in ohio...the rest is history....now, in central florida, I am a well known hardcore sailor. I have been living aboard my boats for going on 30 years... I am a promoter, and have a travelling pirate show...ask about capt. nikko in any anchorage in west central florida...9 out of ten know me, I am outspoken, sometimes rude, and very opinionated.. so, you will get mixed reviews! (I am quick to call an idiot, an idiot!...and, a bullshitter, a bullshitter! so, if i am not well loved, I am ,at least, notorious! I am loyal and true to my friends...and feared by my enemies(good thing is, i only have one very small group of those idiots...)my wife, Lola, and I are almost finished with a refit, and are off to the keys for the winter.. anyone wanna sail along?

Also...I've come upon netvibes.com -- you might find it an excellent tool for promoting you guys activities. Lots of built in goodness..widgets...bring in slideshows, videos...contruct a tab structure each with its own URLs. You can fold in your other web2.0 stuff including myspace and more. You can build a section that does all your most common searches...lots of things. I'm already getting hits off it.  I might switch one of my Domains to go straight there because it has EVERYTHING...and what it doesn't have ( Etsy) you can drop a widget in the HTML module.  Happy Self Promotion! WOOHOO!

NIKKO! Glad to see you and the pirate princess are making some strong plans. Holding in here for another year, me thinks. Though next year this time may show some plans of a more Southerly nature. I hope you continue this lovely happiness. And you're always loved by many.

Nikko- Great pictures of your restorations.  I love seeing people take the time to preserve and restore these gems of yachting history.
