OKAY I still have a Lockley Newport 23 but she is for sale and I just got a 1986 Catalina 27 with a Yanmar 18 deisel. I'm moving up 4 ft at a time! Headroom---woo-hoo!

HOBBIES

Besides sailing, I am a bit of a freak for mountain bike riding. I know what you are thinking....where are the mountains in Florida? Well we have lots of man made trails with plenty of elevation. I also play tennis, hang out with my dogs and play the guitar.

But after we made it through the bridge, sailed on one tack to Anna Maria, just set the sails and the boat sailed itself. Didn't touch the wheel for over an hour. Kicked back and watched the dolphin play next to me. Sailed home in the dark---a wee bit nippy!

Great times this weekend. I hit the sack when I got in and slept the afternoon away. That was an awesome sail back today. Thanks for getting me connected with everybody. This was a great learning experience for me.

Partyin' with Snoop dogg isn't a real draw for us but we really love to hang out with the crew so we're sorta in limbo and may do a spontaneous drive up to just hang out. I'll be leaving after 5 or so. I can wait too if people want to leave later. I'm not in a rush. As for Saturday I will definitely wait for the forcast before deciding whether or not to go. Looks ok though so far.
